Tomorrow's Weather in Hattiesburg, MS

Good afternoon Hattiesburgians & Friends. As you prepare for tomorrow, here's a look at the weather and yes you will need a rain coat, an umbrella, and rainboots in every city in the Pine Belt and PLEASE DRIVE SLOW! Wednesday, there's a chance of showers and thunderstorms between noon and 4pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm.


Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. East southeast wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.



Then Wednesday Night, showers and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between midnight and 3am, then a chance of showers after 3am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall.


Patchy fog before midnight. Low around 64. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Let's start with our friends in Laurel, MS. There's a chance of showers before 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 3pm and 4pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm.

Wednesday Night, there will be showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 3am, then showers likely. Low around 62. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.


Collins, MS

Now let's hit Highway 49 to head to our cousins in Collins. Again, there's a chance of showers before noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between noon and 4pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm.

Poplarville, MS

Moving right along, let's head on over to Poplarville. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. High near 78. Wiggins, MS

Finally, let's go visit our friends in Wiggins. Yes again even down here in Wiggins you can expect showers and thunderstorms likely before noon, then showers likely between noon and 3pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm.


Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
