After celebrating its Pastor's Birthday and Pastor's Anniversary, an exciting two-in-one event this past Sunday, this Pine Belt Church continues to uplift the community with another game changing event that's expected to draw hundreds of people.
A church that's no stranger to reaching out and making an impact in the community will host a big community fellowship at its church. On Saturday, November 16, 2024, Pastor Ron Regan's New Testament Baptist Church, located at 2211 Country Club Road, in Hattiesburg, MS is asking the entire community of all ages and all walks of life to flood its campus.
The event will feature face painting for children and a jump house. The church is also asking the community to bring out as many can goods as possible for the church's pantry.
Hattiesburg News spoke with event organizer LaShawn Johnson about the event as it features some of the Pine Belt's best food and retail vendors. LaShawn says, "The event will be offering everything from burgers, wings, turkey necks, gourmet salads to dressings, sauces, gumbo, snacks, desserts and quesadillas!"
That's not all. Retail vendors will have jewelry, homemade lip glosses, custom hats, custom handmade bags and bonnets. World of Greekdom will be on site with college and Greek paraphernalia for students and family. The event will also include candles and healthy handmade herbs.
LaShawn went on to say, "The event is free to the community! Come and shop with all vendors. We have DJ Trey Trizzle Newsome providing music for the day. It’s a family event and we are super excited to bring the community together!"
