Monday 100's of Jobs Looking To Be Filled Downtown Hattiesburg At Summer Job Fair


It's finally here! This Monday, July 22, the annual Hattiesburg Summer Job Fair returns to downtown Hattiesburg at the Jackie Dole Community Center, 220 W. Pine Street.

100's of jobs are available. This year there are about 15-20 different employers hiring for every position imaginable. The difference between last year and this year is simply this year's job fair employers are looking to hire people immediately according to Hattiesburg Management Group.

100's of jobs from gas stations such as Jr. Food Mart, stores such as Best Buy and Target to Winn Dixie, and health care employers such as Forrest General, Merit Health Wesley and a host of other employers will be looking for folks to fill 100's of vacant jobs.

Doors open to the general public at 9:00am. The job fair will last until 12:00 Noon. At the end of the job fair, all participants will eat free of charge. Last year food sponsors including, Shoney's, Raising's Canes, and Logan's Roadhouse. This year food sponsors include The MidTowner, Shoney's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Golden Corral, Raising Cane's, Sweet Peppers and more.

This year's job fair is hosted and sponsored by the Honorable Senator Juan Barnett of the Mississippi Senate. Last year job fair was hosted by City of Hattiesburg's City Council, the Honorable Councilman Nick Brown and Jeffery George.
