Job Fair Hiring & Feeding 100's Of People On The Spot




Monday, June 3, 2024 in Downtown Hattiesburg at the Jackie Dole Community Center, 220 West Front Street, several employers are coming together to offer 100's of positions to the community. The 6th Annual Summer Job Fair kicks off at 10:00am.


Maximus is looking hire 100 people Monday. McDonalds is looking to hire around 50 people Monday. Beford Care is looking to hire RN's, cooks, chefs, and more. Ellisville State School is looking to hire anyone from a secretary, receptionist, law enforcement, security, cna's sitters, and more.





Hattiesburg Public School District will be looking to hire teachers along with other positions. There will be openings for almost every type of position in a lot of different fields, from shipyard welders to maintenance to managers, as several employers are hoping they can fill their company's roster. There are multiple employers who will be at this year's job fair.


Free lunch will be given to all of the participants while it last. Every year, multiple restaurants and stores come together to feed the community as a whole to help the state's economy.





The HMG Firm says it's as simple as coming to the job fair, applying for a position, and getting hired on the spot. This year' s job fair is hosted by Johniece DuPree, Forrest County Election Commissioner for the 2nd District.
