You won't see his name on the 2024 Basketball All-Star List, just as you won't see his name listed on the stat sheet for the 2023 Mississippi vs Alabama Allstar Game. The reason for both is because he's been out injured, although he was still named a Mississippi All-star, one of the Top 40 Football Players in Mississippi.
Injury or not, he's still a beast. He's not only ranked the Top Safety in Mississippi, but he's ranked the 60th Top Safety in the Country by ESPN. It don't get no bigger than that. He's also committed to Louisville University, the home of one of the greatest football players in the history of the NFL, Lamar Jackson.
He's not just an extremely talented athlete on the court, he's also a gifted student in the classroom. Jathan is an all A honor roll student. His focus on the court and on the field is just as lasered in when he's performing in the classroom. Jathan is no doubt one of the most talented students in the Class of 2024.

His performance on the court has many across the state wondering if he's actually the best basketball player in state of Mississippi. So much buzz has fans begging Hattiesburg News to come watch the game in person.
Fresh off an injury, Jathan is just now returning to the lineup for his school, Biggersville Boys Basketball Team. In his few games back, he's already put on a show. He's kept fans cheering, screaming, and at times, jumping out of their seats.
