Freddy Lopez, the new owner of the new tire shop on East Hardy Street in Hattiesburg, says he opened a new tire shop to help the community during struggling times. He's a familiar face to most as he spent years working at other tire shops.
However, Freddy told Hattiesburg News, people can't afford high prices for used tires but people need new tires so he was stuck between helping the community and making a huge profit. So he left and decided he want to help the community.
Freddy promises to work with everybody who needs a tire, regardless if they can afford his prices or not. "I see a lot of need in this business. I like helping others. I want to be fair with the prices," Freddy told Hattiesburg News.
Another reason Freddy opened his new tire shop is to expand services. "We do everything: plug, patches, rotations, mount and balances, lawnmower tires and ATV's," Freddy said.
The tire shop is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm, Saturday from 8am to 4pm, and Sunday from 8am to 12pm. The tire shop number is 601.307.4703.
