Alabama Roll Tide is Ranked The New #1 Team in the Country

Alabama is back as the reigning king of college football! According to this week's AP Poll, Alabama is ranked the number one team in the country ahead of Texas, who defeated Mississippi State 35-13.

Although Texas has a 5-0 record, they fell to number two. Alabama is 4-0 and beat Georgia, which is not ranked #5. Beating the top SEC team in the country, Alabama rose to number 1.

Up almost 30 points in the first half, Jalen Milroe looked like he was Superman taking advantage of Georgia early on. Georgia however, fought back and late in the 4th quarter, took the lead. That lead didn't last but 14 seconds as a new star was born in Crimson.

17 year old Crimson Tide receiver Ryan Williams, a 2025 recruit who reclassified to the 2024 class, not only caught in unbelieve pass, but played Dancing with the Stars with Alabama Defense after the catch, causing them to tackle each other as he scored one of the most famous touchdowns in Alabama history.

Ryan caught six passes for 177 yards and a touchdown for the second-seeded Crimson Tide in their epic 41-34 victory over Georgia in a rematch of last season’s SEC title game. Ryan was the No. 4 overall prospect and No. 3 receiver in the most recent recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports' Composite rankings.

Georgia again fought back hard. As Alabama fans held their breath as Georgia was poised to score only a few feet from the endzone, another freshman became a star in college football to not only save the game, but ensure Alabama victory. Fellow freshman Zabien Brown snatched a ball out of the air for a game-sealing interception.
