Hattiesburg High School is one of the few teams that's still undefeated in high school sports in Mississippi. That's in part because Hattiesburg High School has arguably one of the best athletes in the country, Tristen Keyes.
Although a junior, Tristen is rare and unique. He understands the defense better than most defensive players. His ability to create separation is jaw dropping. He's the definition of the phrase if you give him an inch he'll take a mile. And what's even more dangerous is after the catch as if he's a magnet for the endzone and almost untackable.
He's one of the most sought after players in high school as every major D1 college would die to have him in their locker room. He alone can change the dynamic of any team let alone its success. He's a once in a lifetime gift to sports in general.
With a total of 19 offers, he's been recruited by Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas and others. Experts think he's more than liking going to Tennessee, at least according to 247 sports which has him listed as the #1 best player in Mississippi, #4 best receiver in the country, and the #23 best player in the country.
247 Sports, On3, ESPN, and Rivals all have him listed at a 4 star recruit within the Top 3 best players in the state, the Top 15 receivers in the country, and one of the biggest high school stars in the nation.
Hattiesburg News was the first publication to start talking about his rare talents and notice his one kind of skills. He's probably one of the greatest athletes in his generation.
