Black History Parade Day Party (Block Party)

Welcome to the famous Black History Day Party aka Block Party. To kick off the biggest celebration of Black History Month in Mississippi, at 12:00 Noon, join the parade block party on JC Killingsworth Drive sponsored by The Mint Julip or the parade block party on Country Club Rd. Enjoy an hour of fun and excitment in anticipation of Mississippi's biggest black history celebration.

Then, watch over 100 participants in the famous parade beginning at 1:00pm.

Public Parking:

The public may park in the First Tee Field. Public parking begins at 10:00am. After you park, you may walk to either Country Club Rd or JC Killingsworth Drive to watch the attend the parade block party beginning at 12:00 Noon. The parade begins at 1:00pm. Then after the parade, walk back to Vernon Dahmer Park for a day of activities.
